I was able to talk to Amanda from this venue and she was incredibly helpful. Me and my fiancé have been really worried with Covid that we wouldn’t be able to all meet with our friends and family, but this venue is so great, open, and communicative that we’re still able to follow social distancing guidelines and have an amazing wedding as well. I would highly recommend talking to Amanda about your wedding, she truly wants the best for you and your fiancé.

I went to my first wedding here a few weeks ago and found it to be a delightfully original venue for a fun, outdoor wedding. The country setting with a beautiful Lake in the background made the wedding memorable. There was even a petting zoo for the children to enjoy. The reception was held in a nearby converted barn with a live DJ, lots of good food to choose from and a dance floor which stayed full. I had a great time!

I had the pleasure of photographing an event here. I was blown away at how beautiful the new barn was, and how great the entire staff is. The owner made sure to come introduce himself to us, and was so kind. Everything was so clean. They really thought of every last detail. I am so excited to photograph another event there!

6 Key Questions to Ask Before You Book a Venue for Your Drew Park, FL Wedding Reception
Congratulations, you’re getting married! Now it’s time to start planning your special day. While there are so many things to consider, choosing a wedding reception hall is the best place to start. Why? Because the venue sets the stage and tone for the entire event, and once you have decided on the location, you’ll have a much easier time selecting the rest of the elements, such as the décor, attire, and even the stationary and transportation.
There are ample locations to host Drew Park, FL wedding receptions; just do a quick search for “reception venues near me” and you’ll find a long list of settings to choose from. After scrolling through the different options, you’ve found few Hillsborough County locations that have piqued your interest and have made arrangements to tour the facilities. To help you narrow down the options and decide on the perfect location for your affair, here’s a look at six key questions you should ask when you’re touring reception venues near you.
Is my preferred date available?
Do you have a specific date or time of year in mind for your wedding? If so, you want to find out if the date is available. Keep in mind that popular wedding reception venues can be booked as far as up to 2 years in advance; this is particularly true of peak season dates, which in Hillsborough County, is mid-to late-fall and early-spring (October, November, March, and April.) While you might have your heart set on a particular date, try to be flexible, as only focusing on locations that have a specific month, day, and year available will dramatically narrow down your search and you may end up foregoing a truly spectacular venue (unless, of course, you don’t mind have a long engagement and you’re looking several years in advance).
How many guests can you accommodate?
You want to be sure that you choose a setting that offers enough space to comfortably accommodate all of your guests. With that said, before you start touring venues for your Drew Park, FL wedding reception, you and your fiancé should come up with a rudimentary guest list. If you find a setting that you love but it can only fit 80 comfortably and your guest list has 150+ people, you’ll have to decide which is more important: your guest list or the venue. The last thing you want to do is squeeze your loved ones into a cramped location. Make sure that there’s ample room for your friends and family to spread out, mix and mingle, and really enjoy themselves.
Is the venue exclusive?
A lot of Hillsborough County wedding reception halls host more than one wedding at a time. As such, if having a private event is of utmost importance, you’ll want to make sure you choose a reception venue near you that offers exclusivity. If a fall in love with a venue that does host multiple events at the same time, find out what techniques they use to delineate each affair; unless, of course, you don’t mind running into another bride, hearing the music from another affair, or possibly having people who aren’t on your guest list partake in your reception.
What type of amenities do you offer?
You’ll want to find out what kind of amenities the venue offers, too, as you want to be sure that everyone who attends your Drew Park, FL wedding reception is as comfortable as possible and has a truly enjoyable time. Some venues are bare-bones, meaning that they only offer the basics, such as tables and chairs (and some may not offer that), while others provide several amenities; catering, full-service bars, overnight accommodations, private locations for the bride and her gals and the groom and his guys to get ready, a dedicated cocktail area space, etc. In addition to inquiring about the type of amenities a facility offers, you should also find out if they’re included or if you’ll need to pay additional fees.
How long will we be able to use the facility?
If you want to party long into the night, make sure that you discuss your plans with the venue ahead of time and find out how long you will be able to use their facilities. Some Hillsborough County wedding reception venues have strict timeframes (4 hours, for example), and once the time is up, they’ll expect guests to leave and will start breaking things down. There are locations that are more flexible and will allow you to use their facilities for an extended period of time; however, do keep in mind that you may charge an additional fee.
