I was able to talk to Amanda from this venue and she was incredibly helpful. Me and my fiancé have been really worried with Covid that we wouldn’t be able to all meet with our friends and family, but this venue is so great, open, and communicative that we’re still able to follow social distancing guidelines and have an amazing wedding as well. I would highly recommend talking to Amanda about your wedding, she truly wants the best for you and your fiancé.

I went to my first wedding here a few weeks ago and found it to be a delightfully original venue for a fun, outdoor wedding. The country setting with a beautiful Lake in the background made the wedding memorable. There was even a petting zoo for the children to enjoy. The reception was held in a nearby converted barn with a live DJ, lots of good food to choose from and a dance floor which stayed full. I had a great time!

I had the pleasure of photographing an event here. I was blown away at how beautiful the new barn was, and how great the entire staff is. The owner made sure to come introduce himself to us, and was so kind. Everything was so clean. They really thought of every last detail. I am so excited to photograph another event there!

4 Things to Consider Before You Start Looking for a Venue for Your Ridgewood Park, FL Wedding Reception
Getting married is such an exciting time, and planning a wedding can be tons of fun; however, it can also be a bit overwhelming. There are so many factors that need to be taken into consideration and decisions that need to be made that it can be hard to figure out where to get started. While all of the elements of your special day are certainly important, there’s one component that tops the list of priorities: the venue.
The venue sets the stage for the entire affair and has a direct impact on the overall theme and style of the event. If you want to simplify the rest of the planning, start the process by choosing a wedding reception hall. Once you know where your Ridgewood Park, FL wedding reception will be taking place, you’ll have a much easier time selecting the décor, attire, entertainment, and even the menu, beverages, and invitations.
But how do you decide which Hillsborough County venue you should choose? Here’s a look at some key factors that you should consider before you start looking for wedding reception venues near you.
If the venue is the first component you’ll be deciding on for your Ridgewood Park, FL wedding reception, you probably aren’t going to have all of the details ironed out – and that’s totally fine! As mentioned, you’ll have a much easier time figuring out the details once you know where you’ll be having your event.
Before you start looking for Hillsborough County wedding reception halls, you and your fiancé should sit down and discuss what you’re envisioning for your wedding. What do you want the affair to look like? What type of atmosphere do you want to create? When you have an idea of the overall look and feel you’d like for your special day, you’ll be able to narrow down your search. For example, if you’d like a formal, black-tie affair, you might want to consider a posh, boutique hotel or an elaborate five-start wedding reception hall, while if you’d prefer a more laid-back, relaxed event, a rustic, outdoor wedding reception venue may be a better choice for you and your spouse.
Once you have a general idea of the type of affair you’d like to have, you’re going to want to set a budget. On average, brides and grooms allocate about 10 to 15 percent of the total budget for their wedding to the venue. Figure out how much you can comfortably afford to spend on your entire event and then you can determine how much you can put toward the venue for your Ridgewood Park, FL wedding reception. However, do keep in mind that when you’re determining how much you want to spend on your venue that you’ll also want to consider the décor. For instance, perhaps you find a reception hall near you that you like and can afford, but it’s kind of bland and needs to be dressed up, the cost of the decorative elements could end up putting the reception venue out of your price range.
The date is another important factor that you and your fiancé are going to want to consider before you start looking for reception halls near you. Keep in mind that popular Hillsborough County wedding reception venues can be booked out two years in advance, especially for peak wedding season (October, November, March, and April). Additionally, while you might have a specific day, month, and year in mind, if you’re focusing on only one date, your search will be limited. Instead, try to be flexible. Instead of the date, focus on a season, or be completely open to any date and you’ll have a much easier time finding a venue.
The Guest List
It’s also important to figure out how many people you would like to invite before you start looking for a venue for your Ridgewood Park, FL wedding reception. While you may not know exactly who you want to invite, you should come up with a preliminary guest list. That way, you can avoid falling in love with a space that won’t safely and comfortably accommodate your friends and family, or if you do find a place that knocks your socks off but the capacity limits are small, you can make adjustments to your guest list and have a more intimate affair instead.
