Where is the Barn at Crescent Lake located?
The Barn at Crescent Lake is located at Old McMicky’s Farm in Odessa, Florida; just 20 minutes from downtown Tampa. We are a 25-minute drive north from Tampa International Airport.

Do you have hotels in the area?
Yes! We have preferred hotels less than 10 minutes away.

What type of wedding packages does the Barn at Crescent Lake offer?
The Barn at Crescent Lake offers a rental only and two inclusive package options. We understand every wedding is unique, and we want to make each special day exactly as our couples envision. Our Special Events Team can work with you to customize a package that fits your needs and create the wedding of your dreams! If you have a specific vendor in mind – for example, a family friend who is providing Officiant services – we can adjust the base rate of the package to credit the cost of that vendor. The Two vendors that are exclusive to the package is the Wedding Coordinator and the Bartender (if you are serving any alcohol beverages.)

Do you have areas for both the bride & groom to get ready?
Yes! The bride and all of her best ladies will get ready in our relaxing 1-bedroom cabin on Crescent Lake, with your very own mimosa bar included. Don’t worry about the groom trying to catch a peek, he’s across the lake in our Groom’s Lodge, conveniently located above the reception area, fully equipped with a big screen TV and a refrigerator stocked with beverages. The bride is allowed access to the cabin at 12pm and the groom at 2pm on the day of your wedding.

What does the Facility Rental Package include?*
The Facility Rental is ideal for the couple who is looking to customize and plan all the details of their event from beginning to end. This package includes a professional Day-of-Wedding Coordinator; round tables to seat up to 150 guests; white folding chairs to be used for ceremony and reception; table linens available in a variety of colors; mason jars with Babies Breath to be placed along the aisle and in Barn windows; bonfire and lawn games; outdoor café lighting; table numbers and wooden slabs for centerpieces; battery-operated tea light candles; additional tables for cake, guest sign in, gifts, DJ, and buffet, as well as four cocktail tables and picnic tables; white drapery and chandeliers to accent reception areas; a white ceremony arch; event insurance; pest control treatment; and a gorgeous selection of décor.

*The Facility Rental Package is available Sunday – Friday during the months of October through May, and seven days a week from June through September.

What are the two inclusive package options?
The Barn at Crescent Lake strives to meet your design and budget wishes. We do this by offering the “All-Inclusive Package” or the “Simply Sweet Package”. These options are perfect for the couple who would like to be involved in the planning process, but without shopping around for additional vendors. Both packages contain everything that comprises the Facility Rental Package, but they also complete your day to get the most for your money. We work with the most respected vendors in the area for catering, gourmet cakes, florists, music and entertainment, non-denominational officiants, and ourexclusive bar/beverage service – all at negotiated discounted rates! The “All-Inclusive Package” allows you to choose your vendors from our Preferred Vendors List, and serves a prime custom menu priced at $18.95 per person, which includes china, water goblets, a second entrée and hor’ devoures. The “Simply Sweet Package” includes carefully pre-selected vendors, from the top vendors in the Tampa Bay area and provides a tasty menu of your choice starting at $12.95 per person. Both packages can be adjusted based on every couple’s specific desires for their special day.

How involved is the Day-of-Wedding Coordinator?
The Barn at Crescent Lake partners with an experienced event planning service to provide you with a designated Day-of-Wedding Coordinator. This professional will meet with the couple twice before the wedding to discuss their details; and will be available for unlimited email and phone consultations during that time period. He/she will design the floor plan, timeline, and itinerary; confirm and distribute these items to your selected vendors; and direct the ceremony rehearsal prior to your big day. The coordinator may also refer vendors for hair and makeup, lodging accommodations, transportation and valet, photography, furniture and tent rentals, formal apparel, stationary, and/or rehearsal dinner locations. On the day of your wedding, the coordinator will set up your décor and items such as favors, programs, and escort cards. He/she will greet and direct your guests; organize the wedding party for the processional and for introductions; carry out the timeline as planned; distribute gratuities to vendors; pack up your gifts/cards, personal items, and any remaining favors into a designated vehicle at the end of the reception; and ensure the couple is having a perfect and stress-free day!

Does the Barn at Crescent Lake allow outside vendors not on the Preferred Vendor List?
Yes. We have a list of approved vendors that have a proven performance at our venue, and with whom we have held relationships for several years. Any vendors not included in our packages must provide a signed Vendor Agreement and provide a certificate of insurance with The Barn at Crescent Lake added as additionally insured. They must also complete a site visit within 30 days prior to your event date. This is especially important to remember if you have decided on the Facility Rental Package.

Will my wedding be the only one going on at one time?
Yes! The Barn at Crescent Lake provides our property exclusively to you and your guests for up to 5 hours (please note that additional time is allocated for set up and break down). This includes a private lakeside Bridal Cabin for the ladies to prepare, a classic Groom’s Lodge for the gentlemen to get ready, your choice of three breathtaking ceremony locations, space for guests to unwind during cocktail hour, and the modernized, elegant barn for a fun-filled reception.

Am I allowed to bring my own alcohol?
Yes. Our couples may bring their own alcohol to the property. The Barn at Crescent Lake partners with an exclusive licensed and insured bar service, which is included in our two inclusive packages, and will be added to our Facility Rental Package. Gratuity fees of $25 per hour for each bartender are charged directly to the couple by the bar service*** Our Exclusive Bartending service is providing by Spunky Spirits and they can accommodate any needs for your special day.

Are there any promotional or seasonal incentives?
Yes! There are discounts available for booking your wedding on a Sunday or Friday, and even more for booking between Monday and Thursday. The rates are also lower during summer months. Please refer to the package listings for specific pricing with respect to your guest count.
In addition, if you book the Barn at Crescent Lake within 3 days of your site tour, we will include at no additional charge: 10 uplights with your choice of color, the top tier of your custom wedding cake; the floral arrangement for your Sweetheart Table or Head Table; a complimentary champagne toast for you and your guests, a “selfie” Photo Booth and overnight accommodations for the newlyweds.
We also offer numerous promotions throughout the year to help you dream wedding become a reality! Check with the Wedding Team for any current promotions.

Are there enough parking spaces available?
Yes. The Barn at Crescent Lake has a large parking lot to accommodate all your guests’ vehicles, as well as any hired transportation. The lot is located a short walk from the ceremony/reception sites – along a lovely pathway following the curvature of the Lake.

Is my Rehearsal included in the package price?
Yes! In most cases, the rehearsal will take place during the afternoon of the day before your wedding. Week day rehearsals are from 1 – 4 and on Friday/Saturday rehearsals are held at either 1:00 or 2:00. Please have anyone attending park in the main parking lot and walk down the boardwalk to the rehearsal site. Only persons with disabilities and those dropping items off for the wedding day may park by the office.

Can you accommodate physically challenged guests?
Yes! The Barn at Crescent Lake is fully accessible with a ramp up to the restrooms, and the capability to drive a vehicle up to the wedding locations for drop off and pick up. All seating, entertainment, and food/beverage service occur at the ground level.
Can my pet be included in my ceremony?
Yes! We know you want to include your furry friend in your ceremony! This is absolutely fine, and your dog (cat, pig or even horse) can stay for the duration of the reception as well. He/she must be on aleash at all times while on the property, and under control so as not to scare any of the Farm animals. We also ask that alol animals that enter onto the property consult with our Animal Caretaker.

Do you allow sparklers for our send-off?
Yes and sparklers are included in our All-Inclusive packages! Including a special exit at the end of your reception is a fun, unique send off for the bride and groom. The Barn at Crescent Lake allows you to bring any items that are biodegradable: such as fresh flower petals, bubbles, glow sticks, or metal-rod sparklers. We recommend 36-inch wedding sparklers that you can purchase online – they last long enough for photos.

Can I bring in my own décor?
Yes, you can bring in any décor you wish. The Barn provides a “Fun Room” with centerpieces, table runners, table nos., lanterns, desert stands, signs and banners (just to name a few) that are complimentary for your use with our All-Inclusive or Simply Sweet packages.

What if my guest count changes after I sign the contract?
We expect that your guest count will change. Your package price will reflect those changes and you will be charged based on the number of guests confirmed.
